Collection and processing of personal data
When visiting the website
When you visit our website, technical data that your browser transmits will be automatically collected. This includes:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of access
- Page or file requested
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
This data is automatically logged by the web server to ensure the stability and security of the website. It is not used to draw conclusions about individual persons and is automatically deleted after a short period.
b) Contact via email or form
If you contact us via email or a contact form, we will store your details (name, email address, message) to process your request. We will not share this data without your consent and will delete it once the request is completed.
Cookies
Our website primarily uses technically necessary cookies to enable core functions such as user login and secure payment processing. When embedding external content (e.g., YouTube videos) or using the payment service provider Stripe, cookies may be set by these third-party providers. As these services run on external servers, we have no direct influence over these cookies. You can disable cookie placement in your browser settings at any time or delete already placed cookies.
User Registration and Coin System (myCred)
On our website, we offer the option to create a user account and earn „Project Coins“ through activities (e.g., newsletter signup, supporting projects).
- Processed data: Email address, username, coin transaction history.
- Purpose: User account management and coin system provision.
- Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract).
Payment service provider Stripe
For payment processing, we use Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland). When you support a project, your payment details are transmitted directly to Stripe. We do not store credit card data on our servers.

Newsletter with Beehiiv
For newsletter distribution, we use Beehiiv (beehiiv Inc., USA).
- Data: Email address, IP address, double opt-in log.
- Legal basis: Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Embedded content (YouTube & Instagram)
We embed content from YouTube and Instagram. Due to technical reasons, data (e.g., IP address) will be transferred to the providers. We use the „enhanced privacy mode“ on YouTube.
Data transfer to third parties
Your personal data will only be passed on to third parties if:
- you have expressly consented,
- we are legally obligated to, or
- this is necessary for the fulfillment of our association's tasks (e.g. with the hosting provider who technically operates our website).
The hosting provider processes data exclusively on the basis of an order processing agreement according to Art. 28 GDPR.
Your Rights
Under GDPR, you have the following rights:

- Deletion („Right to be Forgotten“)

- Objection to the processing
